USCIS has announced an increase in premium processing fees for several immigration benefit types, effective March 1, 2026. The fee adjustments are in response to inflation and will affect various forms including H-1B and employment-based petitions.
Key Details:
- New fee for Form I-129 (H-1B, L-1, O-1, etc.): $2,965 (up from $2,805)
- New fee for Form I-140 (EB categories): $2,965 (up from $2,805)
- New fee for Form I-765 (EAD): $1,780 (up from $1,685)
- New fee for Form I-539 (F, M, J statuses): $2,075 (up from $1,965)
These fee increases will apply to all premium processing requests postmarked on or after March 1, 2026. Affected employers and applicants should plan their filings accordingly to accommodate the new fees.
