Labor Department says it will stop PERM cases at eight employers

On October 8, the Labor Secretary said DOL will not accept or process permanent labor certifications for Microsoft, Adobe, and six IT firms. The step is not an H-1B ban, and NIW and EB-1A filings do not use PERM.
